| Coach Torrez is excited about the Men’s Cross-Country team at Odessa College. The men’s cross-country roster is comprised of all freshmen. The 2008 Wranglers squad has a strong local flavor. Martinez, Paredes, and Ramos were all part of a cross country district championship at Odessa High. The late addition of state qualifier A.J. Lozano of Stanton was a huge gain for OC. The men hope to challenge for one of the top 3 spots in the conference/region. This is a very ambitious goal considering 3 teams (South Plains, El Paso, and Western Texas) are ranked in the top 25 in the nation. The Regional meet will be held in Hobbs, NM on October 25th. |
