    Group Fitness and Water Fitness Class Descriptions

     

    Want to learn more about each type of fitness class? Read below for descriptions of each class! 

    Note: Some classes may not be offered in the current semester. Visit WranglerSports.com/Fitness to view the current Fitness Schedule!

     

    Aqua Zumba® 

    Pool Party! Aqua Zumba integrates the Zumba formula and philosophy into traditional aqua fitness disciplines and creates a class that is a safe, effective and challenging water-based work out for all.

     

    Cardio Combat 

    Come join in this high-intensity cardio class, combining kickboxing, HIIT, body-weight exercises and running, to deliver a full body workout like none other!

     

    HIIT

    Kick and punch your way to a fit bod, with this high intensity total body workout that will improve your stamina, flexibility, and strength!

     

    Kick Boxing

    Kick and punch your way to a fit bod, with this high intensity total body workout that will improve your stamina, flexibility, and strength!

     

    Muscle Cuts

    Want lean, toned muscles? This class is designed to work out all major muscle groups using a barbell, bench and weights, all choreographed to music!

     

     

    Pound®

    Spin 

    Get ready for a full body workout that will get those legs spinning! 

     

    Step 

    Come grab a step, some risers if you're feeling amp'd, and lets get steppin'! 

     

    Strength & Stamina 

    Designed to build power, endurance and stamina, this class combines cardiovascular and strength training exercises to create a challenging workout that'll keep you coming back for more!

     

    Tennis  

    Come meet us on the courts for some outdoor cardio workouts using basic and advanced tennis techniques! Equipment provided as needed. 

    Cardio Tennis:  Monday, Wednesday  8:00AM - 8:50AM  Softball and Tennis Complex, Court 4

    Seniors Tennis:  Monday, Wednesday  9:00AM-9:50AM  Softball and Tennis Complex, Court 4

    Women's Tennis:  Tuesday, Thursday  8:00AM - 8:50AM  Softball and Tennis Complex, Court 4

     

    UpBeat Pilates

    This high energy mat class utilizes traditional elements AND upbeat music for a fun, full body workou!

     

    Water Aerobics 

    Beginner to intermediate classes available: Aqua Therapeutic (Modified for those with movement restrictions), Aqua Works (Basic class), and Aqua Deep (Class held in deep water).

    Aqua Deep:  Monday - Thursday  8:00AM - 8:50AM  Indoor Pool

    Aqua Therapeutic:  Monday, Wednesday  9:00AM-9:50AM  Indoor Pool

    Aqua Works:  Monday, Wednesday  5:30PM-6:20PM  Indoor Pool

    Aqua Boxing:  Tuesday, Thursday   5:30PM - 6:20PM  Indoor Pool


    Wake Up, Shape Up 

    Whether you're here to build muscle or to shape and tone, this instructor led class, will help guide you using the correct functional strength exercises to help you reach your goal! 

     

    Yoga 

    Rejuvenate body and mind, improve flexibility and enhance balance with flexibility exercises and conditioning.  

     

     

    Zumba® 

    "Exercise in Disguise," a Latin-inspired, dance-fitness class that incorporates Latin and international music and dance movements which create a dynamic, exiting and effective fitness system!
