Wranglers sweep WJCAC Baseball Player of the Week Honors

The Western Junior College Athletic Conference has announced the Baseball Players of the Week for the week of March 10-16.

Ivan Melendez of Odessa College is the WJCAC Baseball Position Player of the Week.

The freshman third baseman from El Paso, TX hit .500 for the week with a triple, 3 home runs, 11 RBIs and 5 runs scored.

Marc Luna of Odessa College is the WJCAC Baseball Pitcher of the Week.

The sophomore from Alvin, TX went 1-0 last week. He threw a 5-inning no-hit shutout while striking out 8 and only allowing a walk
