Wranglers face McLennan in opening game of Region 5/Southwest District Championship

ODESSA COLLEGE WRANGLERS vs. MCLENNAN COMMUNITY COLLEGE HIGHLANDERS
Odessa will face McLennan in the first game of the NJCAA Region5/Southwest District Championship on Thursday afternoon at Wrangler Ballpark. Games are scheduled for 11am and 2pm Thursday, Friday, and Saturday with an if necessary game on Sunday.
The double-elimination four team tournament will send the winner to the NJCAA D1 World Series in Grand Junction, CO later this month.
Odessa College, Weatherford College, New Mexico Junior College, and McLennan Community College make up the four-team field.

GAME NOTES:
- Odessa defeated Cisco in the first-round best of three game series.
- The Wranglers won Game 1: 8-3 and Game 3: 6-2.
- McLennan went on the road and swept Midland winning 6-2 and 3-2
- Weatherford takes on New Mexico in the first game of the day on Thursday at 11am.
