GAME PREVIEW:
The OC Baseball team will close out WJCAC play this weekend against Midland College in a four-game series between the top two teams in the conference standings.
Games one and two will be played on Thursday in Midland. Due to the forecasted rain on Friday, games three and four in Odessa will be played on Saturday.
The Wranglers are coming off of a four-game sweep at Clarendon while Midland split their series last weekend in Roswell against NMMI.
Heading into the last weekend, Midland has clinched first place and Odessa has secured second and both teams will host super-regionals next weekend. Odessa will face the #3 seed from the North and Midland will play the #4 seed from the north in a best of three game series.

Odessa will be one of the four hosts in the first round of the Region 5/Southwest District Championship next weekend. Odessa will be the #2 seed from the WJCAC and will face the #3 seed from the NTJCAC in a best of three game series May 7th through the 9th at Wrangler Ballpark.
