Wrangler Rodeo Team: FPC Rodeo Recap
The Wrangler Rodeo team continued their early success for the second consecutive weekend at the Frank Phillips College Rodeo.
In the second rodeo this fall, Odessa had three cowgirls and eight cowboys qualify for the finals last Saturday night.
BAREBACK: (Rough Stock)
Toby Deudney finished sixth with a 77 and a 76 and Leighton LaFromboise finished eighth with at 71 and a 76.5.
STEER WRESTLING: (Timed Event)
Jake Deudney improved off of last week finishing second with a 7.4 and 4.5 second runs.
SADDLE BRONC: (Rough Stock)
Linden Raaen placed seventh with a 69 and a 73.5, Jordan Cust placed eighth with a 73 and Tristan Halden finished tenth with a 61.
BREAKAWAY ROPING: (Timed Event)
Emily Rafftery finished fifth with 2.9 and a 13.2 second runs.
GOAT TYING: (Timed Event)
Laura Bartels finished tenth with a
BARREL RACING: (Timed Event)
Molly Harper won for the second consecutive weekend with a 18.17 second run in the long round and had the fastest run of the weekend in the finals with a 17.28 second run.
BULL RIDING: (Timed Event)
Hayden Welsh and Connor Dean both made the finals with a qualified ride in the long round. Hayden scored a 83.5 and Connor had a 68.

The Wranglers will have a couple weeks off before retuning to action at the Thunderbird Rodeo in Lovington, NM October 23-25th.
