WRANGLER RODEO: Deudney, Harper, & Welsh Set to Compete at 2026 CNFR
CASPER, WY – Three members of the Wrangler Rodeo Team will compete at the 2026 College National Finals Rodeo (CNFR) June 14th through the 20th at the Ford Wyoming Center. Odessa will be represented by, Toby Deudney in the Bareback Riding, Molly Harper in the Barrel Racing, and Hayden Welsh in Bull Riding. Toby and Hayden will each have three rides in the long round to try and qualify for the finals, and Molly and her horse Bobby will have three runs to put together the fastest combined time and get to the finals.
HOW THEY GOT THERE:
All three qualified for Casper finishing in the top three in the Caprock Region standings in their respective events.
Toby Deudney – Bareback Riding
The Tumut, Australia native is making his second trip to the CNFR in Casper. He last competed there in 2024 in Bull Riding. This season, Toby finished in the top three, five times. He placed second at the Texas Tech, Clarendon, Odessa, and South Plains Rodeos and finished third at Western Texas. With these top finishes combined with solid performances through the season, Toby ended the year second overall in the region, punching his ticket to the CNFR.
Molly Harper – Barrel Racing
Molly and her horse Bobby made an instant impact on the Caprock Region this year, running away from the field to capture first place in the region in Barrel Racing. They started off with a bang winning the first rodeo of the year at Eastern New Mexico and also picked up wins at Texas Tech and Howard. In addition to those wins, they came in second three times at Frank Phillips, New Mexico Junior College, and South Plains College.
Hayden Welsh – Bull Riding
Hayden will be making his second consecutive trip to Casper as he qualified in 2025 and made the finals last year. The Gillette, WY native will feel right at home inside the Ford Wyoming Center competing in his home state. Welsh finished second in the Caprock Region in Bull Riding with wins at Eastern New Mexico and West Texas A&M, a second-place finish at South Plains and a third-place finish at Clarendon. His impressive run the past two years at the collegiate and professional levels paid off as Hayden was the #1 pick in this years PBR Teams Draft and will compete for the Kansas City Outlaws this summer.
