Anneliese Martinez

Bio

Anneliese Martinez was born and raised in Odessa, Texas, and is a proud graduate of Permian High School, Class of 2008. She went on to pursue her passion for sports and medicine at Texas State University–San Marcos, where she earned her degree in Athletic Training in 2012.

After graduating, Anneliese returned home to West Texas and began her professional career at Phytex Rehab. She later served as the athletic trainer at Permian High School before continuing her work at Midland Legacy High School. In addition to her school responsibilities, she also provides athletic training coverage for the Odessa Jackalopes.

Some of Anneliese’s most cherished memories come from her time working in high school athletics, where she found great fulfillment in supporting student-athletes and watching them grow into confident, capable young adults. Building relationships and making a lasting impact on her students has been the highlight of her career.

Anneliese is married to her high school best friend, Jesse Martinez, and together they have two children, a daughter, Aydyn, and a son, Brenin. Outside of work, she can often be found cheering on her own children at golf, soccer, dance, choir, and any new activity they choose to explore. In her free time, Anneliese enjoys reading and recently discovered a love for playing golf alongside her husband.
