Softball Sweeps WJCAC Player of Week Honors

The Western Junior College Athletic Conference has announced the Softball Players of the Week for the week of April 11-17.

Illy Cisneros of Odessa College is the WJCAC Softball Position Player of the Week.

The sophomore shortstop from Austin, TX hit .600 for the week with a double, two home runs, nine RBIs, four walks and seven runs scored.

Aydenne Brown of Odessa College is the WJCAC Softball Pitcher of the Week.

The freshman righthander from Edmonton, Alberta went 2-0 again last week. In 12 innings, she allowed just two earned runs on eight hits with 28 strikeouts and three walks.
