The Odessa College women's basketball team picked up two wins Friday and Saturday at the Wrangler Club Classic in the OC Sports Center. The Wranglers defeated Connors State (Oklahoma) 54-38 to begin the season, and then took another win from Southwest Texas Junior College with a score of 117-20.

OC returns five players from last year's team to go along with four new freshmen and three sophomore transfers.  Head Coach, Ara Baten is still working on line-ups that work, and trying to find the best fit for his new squad.  He has scheduled some tough competition early on in the season, to help better prepare the ladies for the always tough WJCAC conference season.  

The Wranlgers are currently on the road down to Coastal Bend College and then Blinn College.   The ladies will be back on their home court in the Sports Center on Thursday November 12th at 6:00 PM.
