Ilanda Captures Women's XC National Title, Wranglers place 8th as a Team.
Elizabeth Ilanda captured the 2024 NJCAA D1 Cross Country Individual Championship this past weekend in Richmond, VA.
Ilanda used a strong push in the final 1000 meters to blow by the leader and capture the individual title with a time on 17:08.0 winning by nearly seven seconds of the next finisher.
Kaydeen Johnson continued her impressive running over the past month and placed ninth with a time of 17:48.8.
As a team, the Wranglers placed 8th overall with 258 points. Salt Lake won the event with 55 points.
