Oxford, AL – The Wrangler Softball Team will open play in the 2024 NJCAA D1 Softball World Series on Monday May 20th when they take on Trinidad State (CO) at 11:00am. The winner will face the #4 seed Florida SouthWestern on Tuesday May 21st at 11:00 am.
- Odessa is the #13 seed in the tournament, Trinidad St is the #20 seed.
- This will be the third meeting between the two teams this season. The Wranglers defeated the Trojans 21-13 and 9-3 in the previous two meetings.
World Series History:
- Odessa will be making their fourth consecutive trip NJCAA D1 Softball World Series.
- The Wranglers finished 3rd in 2022 & 2023.
- This will be the tenth trip in program history to the World Series.

- Odessa has faced five of the twenty teams in this year's World Series.
