MATCH PREVIEW:
The #7 ranked Odessa College Wrangler Volleyball team will play in the semifinals of the NJCAA Region 5 Tournament today when they face #12 Frank Phillips College.

First serve between the Wranglers and Plainsmen is scheduled for 11:00am.

Both teams advanced after straight set victories in the first round. Odessa defeated Vernon 3-0 and FPC defeated Ranger 3-0.

REGION 5 RANKED TEAMS:
Four teams from Region 5 are ranked in the final NJCAA D1 Volleyball Poll, #2 Weatherford, #7 Odessa, #11 New Mexico Military, and #12 Frank Phillips.

TOURNAMENT FIELD:
The single-elimination bracket is made up of the top four (4) teams from the WJCAC and the NTJCAC. The WJCAC #1 Odessa, #2 NMMI, #3 FPC, & #4 Midland and the NTJCAC #1 Weatherford, #2 Ranger, #3 Hill, and #4 Vernon.

NJCAA NATIONAL TOURNAMENT QUALIFIERS:
The Region 5 Tournament champion and runner-up will receive an automatic bid to the 2025 NJCAA D1 National Tournament in Clarksville, TN November, 19-22, 2025.
