The Wrangler Volleyball team advanced to the Region 5 Championship game with a straight sets victory over Frank Phillips College on Friday morning.
Odessa jumped out to an early lead and controlled the match the first two sets winning set one 25-21 and set two 25-18.
Set three would need extra time as the two teams would go point for point for the entire set until the Wranglers would finish off the match in straight sets winning set three 31-29.
With the victory, the Wranglers secure one of the automatic bids to the NJCAA D1 Volleyball National Championship.
Odessa moves to 29-3/12-2 WJCAC on the season.
