The Wrangler Men's Golf Team opened their 2026 Spring schedule winning the San Antonio Shootout on Tuesday afternoon. 

The Shootout was hosted by Schreiner University and played at the TPC San Antonio.  

Odessa shot two under (-2) to win the 54 hole event by 39 shots over Concordia.

Individually, all six Wranglers finished in the Top 10 including first through fourth place. Keegan Shutt shot -12 winning the individual title, Ken Gao finished second at -2, Dian Wilmot placed third at even par, and Jeongmin Seo was fourth at +1. 

New Head Golf Coach Bryce Waters picked up his first coaching victory in his first event with the Wranglers.
