MATCH PREVIEW:
The #4 ranked Odessa College Wrangler Volleyball team opens WJCAC play on Wednesday night as they host #10 New Mexico Military Institute. First serve is scheduled for 6pm inside the OC Sports Center.
Odessa is coming off of a 4-0 weekend at the Sheila Worley Tournament in Sterling, CO. Two of those wins were over ranked opponents, #3 Barton CC and #6 Colby CC.
The showdown on Wednesday night will be a Top 10 matchup as both the Wranglers and Broncos moved up five spots in this weeks NJCAA D1 Volleyball Poll.

VS. RANKED OPPONENTS:
The Wranglers played a very competitive schedule to open the season. In the four tournaments Odessa played in they were 7-1 against NJCAA D1 ranked teams.
WJCAC STRONG:
The WJCAC has been off to a strong start to 2025. Four teams are ranked in the NJCAA D1 Poll this week; #4 Odessa, #10 NMMI, #14 Frank Phillips, #19 Amarillo, and Midland is receiving votes.
MISS 1000:
Sophomore libero Mana Kaneko, surpassed 1000 career Digs this past weekend. She becomes the first Wrangler to have over 1000 digs in her career.
UP NEXT:
Odessa will travel to Midland, TX on Saturday, September 20th to face the Chaparrals at 2pm at the Chap Center.
